The Code Black® Decoy Choke Tube by PatternMaster® is ideal for waterfowl hunting over decoys, and makes an effective choke for general shotgun use. The design gives optimum performance out to 40 yards. A patented stud ring inside the tube creates a short shot string, which is extremely effective on flying targets as the pellets strike the target all at once; flying targets tend to pass through drawn out shot strings with few pellets striking them. Timber tubes can be used with steel or other non-toxic shot from #8 to T-Shot, as well as lead shot from #8 to 000 buckshot. (Not for use with flight control wads or shotgun slugs.) The PatternMaster Code Black Decoy Choke Tube is made of 17-4 stainless steel and is finished with a non-reflective bronze titanium coating; it extends out from the muzzle with a knurled end for hand tightening.
