The AB3 bolt assembly utilizes Browning’s famous anti-bind bolt with 3 locking lugs (instead of 2 on Mauser-type actions). 3 locking lugs allow a short 60-degree bolt handle lift for fast cycling and increased scope clearance. The bolt knob’s shape is slightly flattened and canted at an ergonomic 30-degree angle that fits the hand naturally. Your glove won’t get caught between your scope and the bolt knob at the moment of truth with an AB3, and neither will the bolt bind up. The button-rifled, free-floated barrel delivers precision accuracy , and a unique integrated trigger design provides a crisp 3-1/2 pound pull that breaks clean and crisp. The Composite Stalker comes with a rugged, matte black, weather-resistant synthetic stock with molded-in texturing on the forend and pistol grip, and the barrel and receiver are blued with a non-reflective matte finish. Browning’s Inflex Technology™ recoil pad tames recoil considerably. A detachable staggered box magazine allows quick re-loading with extra magazines.
